I should stay impartial, toe the company line as the now CEO of Viral Agency Inc. Baahh sod that what fun would that be if I lost my viral sting, so anyway this came up on the VA radar today and I can not resist having a pop at it. What is it ? It’s a very bad version of what others have done very well (see examples below) yet Publicis London, the agency of the said named global network - thought they would join in, but OMG look out epic Fail!! People are now talking about Publicis virally for all the wrong reasons – not the right reasons. If this goes viral (which at will to a degree especially around ad land) it won't be for the right reasons.
Why - well in my humble viral opinion we expect more from those who are supposed to be the “opinion makers”, the “ones in the know” “the trend setter” the big guys, but what the hell happened – it’s painful watching this effort.
Ok so it is all good fun and someone’s heart was in the right the place, but come on guys, you could at least ALL put some effort in before letting this one rip – I reckon the person that made this is a star (hold up you just said its shit) noo, but it’s the rest of the twonks in the office that they needed to get involved that let them down, waggling your head at your desk don't cut it – OK PUBLICIS NOW BE TOLD – listen to the person who had this idea, they was right – if done properly it would work and you’d look good - cool even - , you SHOULD NOW make a new version, apologies for fucking it up, and put this right, make a good one and shut all us side line pundits up, put us in our place – show us your power, COME ON!!! Put this right for gods sake, for our sake, Oh for your sake Mr Publicis, if you don’t you could say this has been an EPIC FAIL!!!
