Thanks for dropping by, I'm Asa Bailey and I'm what you call a Viral Director - this means that I create and exploit film across multiple platforms from the TV and cinema to the Internet and mobile phone.
I started out as an Art Director for an ad agency at the age of 19, and by the age of 23, I was made the Creative Director of one of the UK's first digital agencies - known as TW2.
In 2001 I made the move into directing digital films for the Internet - as I believe that the future of the commercial director - is digital.
I'm now also the Agency Head of WAX media a full service - and very grown up - digital advertising agency based in Camden London; and I am fortunate to be represented worldwide as a freelance viral director, working on interactive advertising campaigns.
Since I started working in interactive media in 1996 I have been involved in 100's digital campaigns, my first digital video campaign involved working with Paris Hilton (which is nice work if you can get it) and since then I have worked for some of the world's leading ad agencies including Saatchi and Saatchi, Ogilvy and Grey Worldwide.
I have experience working on major brands including Philips, Nokia, Ford, British Airways, HP, General Mills, BBC, Universal Music, Skint Records, Tanqueray, MTV, Sony, and most recently ricall.com and Getty Images.
